Martifer Solar USA has named senior banking executive Roland Kiser its new chief financial officer.

Kiser, a veteran of UBS and HSH Nordbank, brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in banking and renewable energy financing. His experience financing renewable energy projects includes developing a $6 billion business unit at HSH Nordbank that funded over 4.5 GW of wind and solar plants.

More recently, as president and CEO of Kenyon Energy, he supported an aggressive growth strategy to provide the organization with funding for its pipeline of photovoltaic projects.
