Open Energy Corp., a developer of BIPV products, energy management applications and clean solar energy solutions, has released a new home energy control panel, the EcoTouch Energy Management System. The EcoTouch System is designed to help homeowners save and control energy by lowering electricity costs from the comfort of their homes, the company says.
The system includes a touch-screen information display and action tool that captures and displays home energy use and solar power system production. It is connected to a homeowner's solar installation and provides real-time detailed information, including the number of kWh produced by the system on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
The EcoTouch System also has a customizable user interface and several different graphic options.
