Solar Power Inc. (SPI), a vertically integrated designer, manufacturer and installer of photovoltaic energy systems, has introduced a modular elevated solar shade structure system called Peaq. The new product offers a striking design, kit-build installation and a price tag comparable to that of rooftop installations, SPI says.
Peaq's design delivers shaded parking for vehicles, increases comfort for visitors and facilitates infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. The Peaq system also includes under-canopy LED lighting to provide night-time security, and the system is sealed to provide a dry under-canopy area during inclement weather.
