Ingeteam Energy SA has supplied 70 Ingecon Sun 500 kW grid-tied inverters for Acciona Energia's 46 MW solar park in Moura, Portugal. The solar project - the largest in its class - was connected to the Portuguese grid on Dec. 29, 2009.
The units include an inverter built into a pre-fabricated concrete housing, medium-voltage transformers, protection cells, electric panels for the auxiliaries and a thermal dissipation system - all of which generate a medium-voltage output.
