DEGERenergie, a German manufacturer of solar tracking systems, says it is planning its full-scale entry into the U.S. market, with production in North America likely to be launched this year, but no later than in the first quarter of 2010. Concurrently, DEGERenergie will establish a subsidiary in the U.S. to cover sales, warehousing, customer support and quality assurance.

The company, which currently operates two warehouses in North America in California and Ontario, says it is completing site selection for its production facility, which will be located in either California or Arizona.

Currently, the single-axis DEGER TOPtraker 8.5, TOPtraker 25 HD and TOPtraker 40NT models are certified for the U.S. market. DEGERenergie expects to obtain U.S. certification for its full product range of dual-axis systems by September.
