Sollega Inc., a manufacturer of solar racking systems, has released the InstaRack, a fully assembled, one-piece mounting rack made from recycled materials. According to the company, the patent-pending no-assembly design reduces installation labor costs for flat commercial rooftops by up to half when compared with traditional systems.

InstaRack consists of a one-piece molded unit that requires only one tool. The flexible mounting system works with all current 175 W to 230 W PV panels on the market.

InstaRack is manufactured from high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE) and made from a minimum of 35% recycled materials, resulting in a lightweight unit that is easy to stack and ship. The modular design allows for minimal roof penetrations, while a UV inhibitor adds to durability, the company adds.
