Singulus Technologies, based in Kahl am Main, Germany, has delivered its first Singular machine - an inline coating machine that supplies an anti-reflective coating on silicon solar cells - to a Europe-based manufacturer of silicon solar wafers.
This product fully automates the production of the anti-reflective layer. According to the company, the anti-reflective layer provides improved light transmission and passivation properties, thus improving the efficiency of the solar cells.
