Ausra Expands Senior Management Team | in News Departments > People |   |
Utility-scale solar developer Ausra has added Benjamin Montoya, Debra A. Olson and Jeffrey J. Melby to its senior management team.
Montoya, a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral, has joined Ausra's board of directors. He comes to Ausra with over 10 years of experience in leadership roles in the North American electric power industry, most recently as chairman, president and CEO of the Public Service Company of New Mexico.
Olson has joined Ausra as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to joining Ausra, she was vice president and general counsel at Vestas American Wind Technology. Olson also previously held the position of senior vice president and general counsel at Calpine Corp.
Melby has joined Ausra as senior vice president of research and product development. He brings a combination of engineering and business experience to the company, having served for 15 years in various positions at 3M.
