SCHOTT Solar Planning Cell Production Expansion | in News Departments > FYI |   |
SCHOTT Solar GmbH is planning a major extension of solar cell production capacity at its Alzenau, Germany, facility. According to current planning, the facility will more than double its capacity by September 2011.
With these expansion plans, SCHOTT says its administrative departments will be concentrated at its new company headquarters in Mainz, Germany, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009.
"Undertaking these measures will create the necessary space for further expansion," says Dr. Martin Heming, CEO of SCHOTT Solar.
