Good Energies, a global investor in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, has promoted William Nesbitt to managing director. Nesbitt has also joined the managing board of Good Energies. Nesbitt began working at Good Energies in 2007 as a director and executive vice president in the firm's New York office. He was formerly a managing director of Kirkland Investment Corp., a boutique merchant banking firm.
Before joining Kirkland, he was a partner at Park Avenue Equity Partners LP, where he was responsible for identifying middle market acquisition opportunities on behalf of the firm's private equity fund and for directing the firm's merger and acquisition advisory business.
