Envision Solar International Inc., a developer of solar integrated building systems technology, and Bright Automotive have introduced the CleanCharge/Solar Tree Charging Station.
Bright Automotive unveiled its new hybrid electric vehicle, called IDEA, on Capitol Hill during a special Earth Day event. Envision Solar transforms heat-absorbing parking areas into efficient solar power plants, the company explains.
Envision Solar and its CleanCharge Initiative partners, including Coulomb Technologies and Axion Power International, plan to engineer and implement nationwide the new CleanCharge solar charging stations, initially designed for Bright Automotive's new fleet of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
