Green Sun Rising, a Windsor, Ontario-based provider of residential and commercial solar thermal systems, has formed a partnership with Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. Green Sun Rising's president, Klaus Dohring, signed on as design consultant for the university's planned large-scale solar thermal system.
Green Sun Rising will consult and assist in the custom design of a solar thermal system for Oakland University. The company will be supported by Austria-based SOLID, which is currently operating a number of large solar thermal systems of up to 3 MW in Europe, Asia and the U.S.
