Yingli To Supply 40% Of The Modules For 300 MW Solar Project In France

Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. has signed a contract to supply 120 MW of YGE 72-cell solar panels for the 300 MW project in Cestas, France.

According to the agreement, Yingli Solar will ship more than 393,000 multicrystalline panels between December and June, 2015. The panels will be mounted in an east-west orientation. The EUR 360 million solar project consists of 25 solar individual plants and is expected to be connected to the grid in October 2015.

The project is being developed by Neoen. A consortium of companies, including Eiffage-Clemessy and Schneider Electric, are providing engineering and construction services. The project is expected to be able to produce electricity at a cost of EUR 105/MWh.
