Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) Solar Source has dedicated the 13 MW PSEG El Paso Solar Center in El Paso, Texas.
juwi solar Inc. built and will operate the plant, which is located on a 100-acre site adjacent to the existing El Paso Electric (EPE) Newman Generating Station. EPE will purchase the electricity produced by the solar facility through a 30-year power purchase agreement.
EPE now has 6% of its dedicated energy generation coming from renewable energy resources.
