sPower And Camborne Sign Agreement For Utility-Scale Solar Projects In U.K.

0

Salt Lake City-based renewable energy provider Sustainable Power Group (sPower) has formed a strategic collaboration agreement with Camborne, a U.K.-based solar developer.

Together, sPower and Camborne intend to deploy significant capital under the U.K.'s renewables obligation certificate (ROC), the feed-in tariff (FIT) and contract for difference (CfD) programs by developing and acquiring utility-scale solar projects in the country.

sPower owns and operates utility and distributed electrical generation systems in the U.S. and is buying solar development assets in any stage of development, as well as working to acquire operating solar projects in North America and the U.K.

Camborne is actively acquiring a substantial portfolio of assets to build out under the 1.4 ROC, FIT and CfD schemes and is planning to expand its operations abroad in 2015.
